Jennifer Lawrence needs to have her old friend back in her life but nowadays, Amy Schumer is busy caring for her baby since she is a new mother. The Hunger Games actress complained that the comedian has been ignoring her on Instagram Stories.

Lawrence posted some proof – a screenshot that showed the many text messages she had sent the other woman.

More specifically, the star had a question about The Handmaid’s Tale but she did not receive any answer from the other.

Seeing how she was not going to get a response, she asked the new mom if she was already asleep because of the baby making her tired and even joked she was resenting the infant for driving them apart.

‘You up? I have questions about handmaid’s tale. It is an emergency. Amy!!! What did she do in season 1 to deserve being in the gallows in season 2? I cannot remember where I left off. Eventually, Amy replied with: ‘Hi! I’m awake! She ran away.’

In fact, the comedian was the one to share this second screenshot and over it, she wrote: ‘Everybody keeping their cool about me having a baby.’

As fans know, soon after getting married, Schumer and her hubby Chris Fischer became the parents of a baby boy they named Gene.

He was born on May 5. Amy had been sharing updates about her pregnancy on social media and she has continued to do so about motherhood after welcoming Gene as well.
