Saeed Al-Taweel: A victim of Israeli war

Saeed Al-Taweel was one of four Palestinian journalists murdered in Gaza by Israeli airstrikes on October 10, 2023. Hisham Al-Nawajha and Rezq Muhammad Sobh, who worked for Smart Media and Channel Al-Ghad, respectively, and Ahmed Abu Hussein, who worked for Al-Jazeera, were the other three.

According to Roya TV, Saeed Al-Taweel was shooting in the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike on a residential block in Gaza City’s al-Rimal neighborhood, which is home to many media outlets and non-governmental organizations.
