Wrestlezone Ranks Every Single Hell in a Cell Match in WWE History Part 2
#12
The years 2007 and 2008 were some of the best in Smackdown history, mostly because of the rivalries between Batista, Edge and The Undertaker. This solid, eventful Hell in a Cell match ended a year-long battle between The Animal and The Deadman, with each man having one victory and a draw under their belt. All four PPV matches between the two were must-see, and choosing a favorite of the four is actually quite difficult.
On the downside, outside interference meant Undertaker got screwed out of the World Heavyweight Championship, and we’ll never actually know who the better man was between the two. On the plus side, we saw the return of the “Rated-R Superstar” and the rekindling of the feud between Edge and Undertaker, that ended in one of the best Hell in a Cell matches ever, just one year later.
